Our service at a glance

We plan around your property

We assess the fabric of your home before recommending equipment. That gives you a system based on how your rooms actually hold heat.

We explain the enabling work early

We agree on pipework changes, radiator upgrades and cylinder requirements before installation so you have clarity and fewer surprises later.

We help you understand the grant route

Grant funding rules can be confusing and may change. We explain the installer-led process and the specialist input needed for eligible applications.

Heat your home with renewable energy

An air-source heat pump collects heat from the outdoor air and transfers it into your home. Air-to-water systems can provide central heating and, with a suitable cylinder, hot water. Because they move heat rather than creating it directly, they can deliver more heat energy than the electricity they use under suitable conditions. Good performance depends on careful design, lower flow temperatures, effective controls and a home that retains heat well.

Designed around your home's needs

Before installation, we assess room-by-room heat loss, insulation, draughts, radiator sizes, hot water demand, cylinder compatibility, electrical requirements and the condition of your property. Beat Them Leaks Plumbing also provide boiler repairs and installation services, alongside heat pump solutions tailored to your home's needs. We consider the outdoor unit position, airflow, access, noise, and any existing boiler or heat source that needs removing. Planning, certification and practical efficiency improvements are reviewed before the system is designed.

Understand grants and installation requirements

Qualifying installations may be eligible for funding through schemes such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme in England and Wales, subject to current rules. Eligibility depends on the property, existing heating system and chosen technology. Grant applications are installer-led and require an eligible MCS-certified installer to apply on the property owner's behalf.

Funding and conditions can change, so eligibility cannot be guaranteed in advance. Where a grant-supported route is suitable, we can help explain the requirements and coordinate the necessary specialist input. Before work begins, Beat Them Leaks Plumbing clearly set out the proposed heat pump, controls, cylinder, radiators and any pipework changes, along with how the completed system will operate.
