What sets us apart
Advice that matches your property
We look at the practical details before suggesting a system. You get guidance based on heat demand, layout and hot water use, not guesswork.
One clear plan from start to finish
Our installation process sets out what needs changing before work begins. That includes controls, pipework, cylinders and any electrical considerations.
Support for electric boiler decisions
We help you weigh up installation needs against likely running costs. That makes it easier to decide if electric heating is the right fit for your home.
Find the right boiler for your home
A boiler replacement can improve comfort, control and reliability, but the right system depends on your property. We assess its size, heat loss, hot water needs, available space, existing radiators and gas or electrical supply before recommending a suitable heat source. We will clearly explain the proposed system, including any required pipework, controls, cylinder or electrical changes.
Installation can include removing the existing boiler, fitting the new boiler and isolation components, setting up controls, filling and testing the system, integrating a hot water cylinder where needed, and providing a clear handover with basic operating guidance. The responsible qualified installer will complete the relevant certification or notification.

Electric heating without the gas connection
Electric boilers can suit homes without mains gas, flats where a flue is impractical, smaller properties and projects moving away from on-site combustion. They require no gas supply or flue, produce no combustion emissions at the property and offer compact, quiet operation with relatively few moving parts.
At Beat Them Leaks Plumbing, we install new and replacement electric boilers, diagnose faults, carry out repairs and servicing, and can integrate radiators, controls, pipework and suitable hot water cylinders. We assess electrical capacity, heating demand, insulation, radiator sizes, tariff and hot water use first, as these factors affect suitability and running costs. Where a lower-carbon upgrade is the priority, we can also discuss air-source heat pumps.
A coordinated installation from start
For gas boilers, gas pipework and flues, Beat Them Leaks Plumbing works with an independent Gas Safe-registered engineer who is qualified for the specific task. We coordinate the surrounding plumbing and heating work so you have one clear plan for the whole job.
You should always ask to see the engineer's Gas Safe ID card and check that their qualifications cover the appliance and work being completed. For electric systems, we also consider ongoing energy use, as electricity can cost more per unit than gas, while its carbon impact depends on how the electricity is generated. Good sizing, insulation and effective controls can help improve overall performance.
